Why the application offer was removed
Discover’s July 17, 2024 Form 8-K confirms the application closure and the agreement to sell its student loan portfolio, with Firstmark servicing transferred loans. The former product URL now redirects to Discover’s homepage. Historical APRs, approval scores and application instructions are no longer presented here as current offers.
Already have a Discover student loan?
Use your latest statement or transfer notice to identify your servicer. Firstmark provides an official account login and customer-service resources for loans it services. If your records name a different servicer, follow those records; this page does not establish the status of an individual account.
Comparing new borrowing options
Request current disclosures for the specific product you are considering. Compare the APR, repayment schedule, fees and total payments, and keep a copy of the actual offer. An old Discover product description is not an available alternative.
